Lemon contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA’s) and Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHA’s), which are powerful in eliminating dead skin cells. Hence, it helps to clear blackheads and controls oil production, preventing oil build-up.
Ingredients:
1 lemon
3-4 drops of raw honey
A pinch of baking soda (optional)
Instructions:
You should cut the lemon in half and pour 3 – 4 drops of raw honey onto the piece. Then, rub the lemon half on your face, focusing on the affected areas. Leave it for 5 minutes and then rinse it off with cold water. Repeat this procedure once or twice a week.

Honey with Lemon Mask:
In order to use this method, you should boil water in a pot. Then, drape a towel over your head and steam your face. Make sure you are leaving a minimum of 12 inches from the hot water. Then, mix a tablespoon of raw, organic honey and fresh-squeezed lemon juice in a bowl. Apply this mixture on the face while avoiding the eye area. Leave this mask for 30 minutes and rinse it off with warm water followed by cold water to close the skin pores. Finally, pat dry and apply a moisturizer.
